"BRINGING OUR FAMILY STANDARD OF HIGH QUALITY HOPS TO THE BREWING COMMUNITY"

WELCOME TO

FLATHEAD VALLEY HOPS

In 2018, the Riddle Family purchased a 500 acre tract of land north of Flathead Lake with plans to build what would become the largest hop farm in Montana. The farm is located on the 48th parallel, known for its temperate growing climates, the same latitude of the world’s largest hop producers in Europe. Most of the land sits on Creston Topsoil, famous amongst farmers in the Flathead for being rich, dark, high-quality and healthy soil.

What makes Flathead Valley Hops unique is their size. While most hop farmers fit the mold of growing under 20 acres or over 600, FVH grows 185 acres of hops. This unique size allows FVH to process and package entirely on site, while still providing the catered customer service experience of working with a small family farm.
